LEVAYA ENVELOPES
According to the will of Rabbi Akiva Eiger in which he asked his sons to distribute (????) money at his funeral in the numerical value of his name Akiva,
there is a custom to distribute tzedakah during a levaya equal to the numerical value of the niftar's name.
This is considered particularly valuable to the neshama during the difficult time between death and burial.
